I have a bachelor's degree in Alternative Tourism and have worked on various projects with biologists, monitoring different areas of the Yucatán Peninsula. For my thesis, I focused on recognizing the diversity of species in my Mayan community. I have also volunteered to teach children about the importance of birds. Now, I run my own birding agency, where I work alongside other guides when I’m unavailable. My goal is to support local Mayan guides like myself and create exceptional birding experiences rooted in local knowledge.
