Flamingos
Flamingos are large, wading birds found in warm, shallow lakes and lagoons around the world. They are known for their striking pink or reddish plumage, long legs, long necks, and uniquely shaped bills, which are used for filter-feeding. Flamingos are highly social birds, often found in large flocks, and they feed on algae, small crustaceans, and other microorganisms. They nest on mounds of mud in shallow water.
