Antpittas

Antpittas are small, plump birds found in the undergrowth of Neotropical forests. They are known for their short tails, long legs, and relatively large heads. These birds are primarily insectivorous, foraging on the ground for insects and other small invertebrates. Antpittas are often shy and difficult to observe, preferring dense vegetation.
