Anhingas, also known as snakebirds, are waterbirds found in warm freshwater environments around the world. They are characterized by their long, slender necks, sharp bills, and webbed feet. Anhingas are excellent divers and swimmers, using their long necks to spear fish underwater. They often perch with their wings spread to dry after diving.
