Vireos are small, arboreal birds found primarily in the Americas, with a few species in Asia. They are characterized by their olive-green plumage, often with brighter wingbars and eye rings. Vireos are primarily insectivorous, gleaning insects from leaves and branches. They build hanging, cup-shaped nests, often suspended from forked branches.
