Todies are small, brightly colored birds found only in the Caribbean. They are characterized by their flat bills, vibrant plumage, and unique “sawing” vocalizations. These birds are primarily insectivorous, catching insects on the wing or gleaning them from foliage. Todies nest in burrows in banks.
