Ospreys
Ospreys are birds of prey, the sole members of their family, found near bodies of water worldwide. They are specialized fish-eaters, possessing reversible outer toes and barbed talons for gripping slippery prey. Ospreys are excellent divers, plunging feet first into the water to catch fish. They build large stick nests, often near water, and are known for their distinctive white underparts and dark wings.
