Antthrushes are medium-sized birds found in the undergrowth of Neotropical forests. They are characterized by their strong legs, relatively long tails, and stout bills. Antthrushes are primarily insectivorous, foraging on the ground for insects and other small invertebrates. They are often solitary or found in pairs.
